The Centre for Islamic Research and Culture at Aston University will be a symbol of the past, present and future of Islamic culture. It will incorporate academic, educative, social and creative functions, providing a unique combination of services in a prime location in the centre of Birmingham, bridging gaps and encouraging productive cooperation between diverse elements of the community.

The Centre for Islamic Research and Culture is envisaged as a hybrid of contemporary and Islamic architecture.
